Rotation 1 Fuldseth
Fuldseth is a legendary beat, located a couple of miles upstream of the Hegra bridge. It is a double-bank stretch, but we always go up on the south side where we can use the cabin, wind shelter and BBQ-hut.
Borders (red) : The fishing is between the solid red lines. Both sides of the river. Above the red striped line is fishing together with SJFF public water.
Fuldseth is a stretched-out beat and we usually focus on the top two hundred meters and start above the power lines. There are some good rapids leading into it at the top end, forming a deep holding pool before the river slows down and widens up further downstream. It is a great beat to fish at all water levels. Further downstream, outside the brook that flows into the river by the cabin, you will find salmon throughout the season. The river runs deep and slow here, and can be really tricky to fish successfully. You need to cast well, and may need some heavy tackle to get deep enough. Further down, the current heads over to our side again, and this is one of the really exciting stretches, especially in medium-high water (70–100 m3). The pool and the river further downstream contain some prime salmon throughout the whole season, and many big fish were landed here in the previous seasons.
Hotspots
Under the power lines, outside the point and trail exit, outside the creek and the last 70m of the stone wall.
Water level
Between 25–150 m3 (over 150 m3 it's getting over flooded, under 50 m3 can we fish the north bank as well).
Line recommendations
HI3 to S3/4 from the top from the Power lines, below the creek S4/5 to S7/8.

Rotation 2 Bjørngård
(both banks and with wind shelter and fire place on the south side)
Borders (yellow) : The fishing is between the solid yellow line at the bottom of the pool to the yellow striped line in the middle. Both sides of the river. Above the yellow striped line you can fish from 5`th July.
This pool changes every year because of the gravel up stream.
South side, start high up the border and backwater (vortex). The fly line will behave a little bit strange but work it home with jerky stile, this is a holding spot for big salmon, start with short casts and increase, further down it becomes a deep channel that ends to a big pile of stone that forms a neck.
This part is super interesting all the way. North side, start at the top and fish it the whole way down to the stairs. On the north side you can use heavier lines.
Hotspots:
At the top, in the middle and on high water at the end neck on the south side.
Water level:
South side: 40–200m3. North: 20–80m3.
Line recommendations:
South from F to S3/4. North HI3 down to S5/6.
-
Rotation 3 Grøthølen
(both banks and with wind shelter on the north side)
Borders (pink) : The fishing is between the solid pink lines.
A fabulous pool to fish when the river is high. Start at the top where Bjørngård ends by the stairs. This pool is deep all the way down to the wind shelter and holds fish the whole season. From the shelter and down to the neck it becomes more swallow. On high water the salmon comes really close to the banks.
Hot spots:
At the top, outside the parking and the neck.
Water level:
North side: 60–200m3. South: 120–200m3 .
Line recommendations:
At the top: HEAVY! S5/6 to 750 grain. Lower part: HI3–S135.

Rotation 4 Svingen and Campingen
(both banks and with wind shelter on both sides)
Borders (blue) : The fishing is between the solid blue lines. On the north side below the blue striped line you fish together with SJFF public water. (We dont fish below it if someone is there) On the south side we also fish together with SJFF below the blue striped line, all the way to Trekanten/ Old bridge pool (green border)
In the weekends ( Friday 6 pm - Sunday 6 pm) when we dont have the trekanten/ old bridge pool we stop our fishing on the south side around 50 meters above the upper green border.
These pools are connected and are fishable on every water level but are desirable from middle to high. South side, if the water is medium, you can fish the whole stretch. From this side the river is deep all the way so a good sinking line is recommended. North side, maybe the best pool on high water! When the river is high (120–250m3) the salmon come close to the bank, the side is not deep so a light line is recommended. Fantastic flow all the way down to the lower border.
Hotspots south side:
Outside the small stairs 70 meter down from the top, by Hytte 7 or the second stair and outside the first big hutt at the camping site.
Hotspots north side:
At the top where Grøthølen ends, when you have Hytte 7 (stairs) on the opposite side and +30 meter, at the end outside the red SJFF-sign.
Water level:
South side: 45–120m3. North: 60–250m3.
Line recommendations:
South side: S4/5–S6/7. North: FI–S2/3.

Rotation 5 Trekanten/GL Bruhølen
(south banks and with wind shelter and fire place)
Borders (green) : The fishing is between the solid green lines. Except at weekends from Friday at 6 pm to Sunday at 6 pm. Then those who have this rotation can fish from the green striped line down to the solid green line. In addition, you can also fish Bruhølen/Nacken on the south side of the river down to the shelter on Nacken.
We have counter fishing from the north side. In June there can be lure fishing from the north side, the rest of the season there is only fly fishing. This is usually no problem.
This is the most popular pool and our home pool! Easy to wade and doesn’t require long casts. Super nice place to hang out and cook some dinner while our friends take a salmon. The lower part below the old bridge pillars is one of the most exciting pools to hook a salmon! 50% is lost here.
Over 75 m3 we fish it from the bank and under we wade out to the left piller. PLEASE TALK TO THE GUIDES BEFORE YOU TRY THIS!
Hotspots Trekanten:
Highest up around the corner, outside the fireplace and if the river is middle to high the spot between the old bridge pillars is legendary. Demands a little bit of deep wading!
Hotspots GL Bruhølen:
The last 40 meter to the bridge.
Water level:
20–160m3.
Line recommendations:
Low water: FI2. High water: S2/3–S3/4. You can go deeper at the end of the pool.

Rotation 6 Bruhølen/Nacken
(both banks, wind shelter and fire place)
Borders (orange) : The fishing is between the solid orange lines. Both sides of the river.
This is the last two pools of Hembre and starts from the bridge all the way down to the lower border. Super deep in the beginning and from the power lines it becomes more sallow.
Hotspots South side:
Just there the long stair is and down to the power lines is a super spot on meddle water. From the power lines and down to the end is one of the best stretches on low water.
Hotspots North side:
When the river is high this is the pool to fish!
Start where the trail comes down from the parking lot and fish it down so you pass the power lines with 40m.
Water level:
30–200 m3.
Line recommendations:
South at the beginning: S3/4–S5/6. The lower part: HI3. North: HI3–S2/3.
